Food sales and dinners through July 17

THURSDAY

Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will host a drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Menu includes stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost is $7. Pepperoni rolls also will be available for $2 each. Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, will sponsor a drive-through chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals are $7 and will feature stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Dinners may be reserved by calling 330-549-2588. Pull up to the door and the food will be delivered.

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter and coffee. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $8 and will be available until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

VFW Post 2799 Auxiliary will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the post home, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, Italian bread, coffee or tea. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

FRIDAY

Canfield Lions will host a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St. Meals include a choice of baked or fried fish, french fries, macaroni and cheese, pirogi or haluski and coleslaw, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage. Cost is $12 and will be takeout or dine-in.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. Cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $2. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. by calling 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will offer its next Second Saturday Supper from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, vegetable, salad, dinner roll, dessert and beverage. Cost is $12; $6 for children under 12. Takeouts will be available.

MONDAY

Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., will host a ham loaf dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Dinners will include au gratin potatoes, corn, applesauce, lemon dessert and a beverage. Cost is $10. Call 330-533-9801 for information.

UPCOMING

St. George Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, will host a steak fry, which will be from 2 to 5 p.m. July 20. Cost is $18 and menu will include a one pound Porterhouse steak. Dinner will be available for dine in or take out. To make a reservation, call Tim Komara at 330-519-9036. Reservations are due by Monday. Tickets will be sold in advance only.
