CLASS B

Knightline 6, DuraEdge 3 12 innings

Tom Pitko picked up the win in relief while Shane Swogger was the loser out of the bullpen. Brett Bobin recorded the final out of the game to record the save. Kenny Misik led the way for Knightline with three hits including a double. He also drove in two runs. Zach Yaskulka had two hits including a triple and scored a run while Kris Scandy hit an RBI doublee. Trevor Strohmeyer hit a two-run single and touched home for Knightline. For DuraEdge, Zack Leonard had three hits and scored twice. Andrew Sabella had a pair of hits and RBIs while Tyler Robinson slugged a triple and crossed home.

Astro Falcons 7, Avalanche 1

Brayden Beck picked up the win, allowing just one run on three hits in six strong innings while striking out seven and walking three. Beck had two hits including a RBI triple and scored a run. Chase Franken and Lucas Gulczynski each slugged a pair of hits and scored a run while Burke Camper hit a double and touched home twice. For Avalanche, Marshall Weinberg hit an RBI single.

Austintown 11, Poland 5

Poland is eliminated. Austintown will play Canfield in an elimination game on tonight at 8 on Field L-1 at the Fields of Dreams.

Boardman 4, Canfield 2

Boardman advances to the championship game on Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Field L-1.

Howland 14, Austintown 10

Austintown is eliminated. Howland will play Poland in an elimination game today at 6 p.m. on Field L-1.

Boardman 10, Poland 0

Boardman advances to the championship game on Wednesday at 6 p.m. on Field L-1.

Howland will play Austintown in an elimination game today at 6 p.m. on Field L-2. At 8 p.m., Poland will face Canfield in a winner bracket game.

Today at 6 p.m. on Field L-3, Boardman faces Canfield in an elimination game. The winner plays on Thursday at 6 p.m. on Field L-1 against Poland for the tournament championship.

Green 14, Boardman 4

In the resumption of Sunday’s game, Green eliminated Boardman in five innings.
