Karla Agee-Seldon to mark release of album with show
LIBERTY
Youngstown-based singer songwriter Karla Agee-Seldon will perform at the Metroplex Expo Center, off Belmont Avenue, at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 to mark the release of her new album, “Spreading My Wings,” and also to honor her late husband, Laurence “Larry” Seldon. A portion of proceeds will go to the American Heart Association.
In the first half of the show, Seldon will perform seven songs off her new album and an eighth, “As We Lay,” written by Billy Beck and made famous by Shirley Murdock. She will be backed by Russell Thompson and the Free Agent Band.
Seldon will sing audience favorites in the second half.
Opening act is LaNora Williams of Columbus. Food and drinks will be available. The album will be available in multiple formats.
