SOV to host Veteran Appreciation picnic

Shepherd of the Valley will host an appreciation picnic to celebrate and honor veterans. The picnic is free and open to all veterans.

The picnic will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. July 11 at SOV – Poland, 301 W. Western Reserve Road. Respond by calling 330-726-7110, ext. 0, by Thursday.

Library to host program July 10

SALEM

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host a “Search the Right Places” program at 6:30 p.m. July 10 in Study Room 1 on the upper level. Stephanie Peterson, technology instructor, will assist with locating sites for productive job searching. The class is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, and registration is required. Society to host open houses

The Poland Historical Society will host an open house of the Little Red Schoolhouse, 4515 Center Road, from 1 to 3 p.m. July 14 and Aug. 11. Society members will be available to answer questions.
