Club seeks applicants

YOUNGSTOWN

The Polish Arts Club of Youngstown is seeking applicants for its annual scholarship distribution. College sophomores and above are eligible‚àto apply. This includes those‚àenrolled in universities, trade‚àschools, specialty‚àprograms, graduate‚àstudents and those attending Polish cultural/academic‚àprograms in the U.S. or Poland. Polish descent is not mandatory if a member of the Polish Arts Club sponsors the student. All applicants are asked to submit completed applications as well as a brief, original essay. A panel of PAC members will select the winners. Applications are available on the group’s Facebook page at the-polishartsclubofyoungstown or by emailing nursemj@zoominternet.net.

The deadline to submit is Sunday. The winners will be announced at the group’s annual Scholarship Art, Music & Tea Reception at the Butler Institute of American Art, Butler North from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 10.
