Becca Litz added 16 for Brookfield and Chloe Willrich had 12. Sharda Williamson led Liberty with 18 points, including seven in the fourth quarter. Lakeview’s Michael Altier rolled games of 233 and 188 for a 421 set and MVP honors as the Bulldogs won the inaugural season-ending Northeast 8 boys bowling tournament and also clinched the conference title at McKinley Lanes on Saturday. Lakeview finished with a pinfall of 2,823 to edge Girard by nine pins. Connor Pawlosky had a 205 game for the Bulldogs. Girard’s Donny Bishop and Jonathan Moore each rolled a game of 197. Hubbard’s Maggie Lewis rolled a 370 set (175-195) to earn girls MVP honors. The Eagles won the girls tournament with a pinfall of 2,509, but Girard took the NE8 championship with a perfect 8-0 conference record this season. Amber Davis rolled a 202 game for Hubbard. Sidney Schlabs had a 177 for Niles.

WELLSVILLE
Columbiana’s Josh Stillson (285) pinned his opponent in the finals to clinch a team title for the Clippers in the Wellsville Invitational on Saturday. Columbiana edged Salem 138.5 to 137.5 for the title. Nate Whitehead (195) also won his weight class for the Clippers, while Cutter Green (138) and Jack Carney (160) were second and Brandt Virden (113), Chandler Parish (152) and Jacob Kamperman (220) each placed third.
