Sheryl Crow and Hozier to headline LaureLive

LaureLive, the two-day rock festival in Geauga County, will return in June with headliners Sheryl Crow and Hozier, and a bit of a Youngstown flavor.
The festival, now in its fourth year, boast 30 musical acts, including The Vindys and JD Eicher. It will take place June 8-9 at the Laurel School’s Butler Campus on Fairmount Road.
Tickets are now on sale at LaureLive.com and Ticketfly.com. Single-day passes are $75 ($20 for children age 3-10), and weekend passes are $115 ($35 for children). Enhanced experience tickets are $265 ($150 for children) for one day, and $395 ($195 for children) for a weekend pass.
The June 8 lineup will include Hozier and an undercard of Dirty Heads, Moon Taxi, Misterwives, Coin, Dennis Lloyd, Alec Benjamin, The Blue Stones, Motopony, The Suitcase Junket, Northern National, The Vindys, Rebounder, Julia Thompson, JD Eicher and The Dead Licks.
The June 9 lineup includes headliner Crow, plus Trombone Shorty (who also played the fest last year), Lake Street Dive, AJR, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Red Sun Rising, Castlecomer, Emily Hackett, Caroline Jones, Doc Robinson, Clubhouse, The Furies, Front Porch Lights, Ashley Fulton and the Shootouts.
The Irish artist Hozier, best known for his song “Take Me to Church,” will release a new album, “Wasteland,” in March.
Crow, a nine-time Grammy Award winner, is a multiplatinum artist whose body of work includes “All I Wanna Do,” “Soak Up the Sun,” “Everyday Is a Winding Road,” “My Favorite Mistake” and “Strong Enough.”
Food lines at LaureLive were long last year, and the organizers have taken steps to alleviate them. The festival has joined forces with chef Fabio Salerno’s “Lago” brand, which already creates items for Cleveland Browns Stadium, Quicken Loans Arena and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
There will be nine food stands and five food trucks in the main concert area, plus additional food trucks on the south side of the concert venue adjacent to Stage 3. The total number of food vendor windows will be at least 25, far exceeding that of any other year, according to a press release from LaureLive.
The festival also made it a point to book more Northeast Ohio acts this year, or national bands with members from the region. In addition to the Vindys and JD Eicher, these include Red Sun Rising, COIN, Clubhouse, Julia Thompson, Doc Robinson, Front Porch Lights, Ashley Fulton and the Shootouts.
