Angela Grate and Matthew Heim, both of Atlanta, were united in marriage Dec. 29, 2018, at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Youngstown. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Pete Fowler. The newlyweds were honored that evening during a reception at Stambaugh Auditorium.

C. Sam and Debra Grate of Salem are the bride’s parents.

The groom is the son of James and Laurie Heim of Lake Orion, Mich.

The bride wore a sleeveless, white satin gown designed with a plunging V-back that was accented with a bow. A cathedral train completed her ensemble.

Valerie Williams, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Dana Looker, Courtney Wagner, Kayla King and the groom’s sisters, Kristin and Leighann Heim.

The attendants wore navy-colored dresses.

Joe Vercellino served as best man. Groomsmen were Dominic Williams, brother-in-law of the bride; Ethan Keenan; Mark Bartus; Jacob Corll; and Jeremy Fieber.

Mrs. Heim is pursuing a law degree at Emory University.

Mr. Heim graduated from Capital University with a bachelor’s degree in music technology. He is an AV trade show technician for BrightPipe in Atlanta.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and reside in Decatur, Ga.
