ORWELL

Panthers freshman Bella Zirzow nearly matched the Mustangs’ output by herself with a game-high 30 points in Bristol’s victory. Zirzow became the school’s all-time freshman scoring leader, breaking a record set last season by teammate Brittany Mooney. Zirzow also had seven rebounds. Mooney added 12 points and six steals. Genesis Foltz led Grand Valley with seven points.

NILES

The Northeast 8 Athletic Conference bowling tournament scheduled for Saturday has been moved to McKinley Lanes, 2666 Robbins Ave., Niles, and is scheduled to begin at noon. Participating boys and girls teams include Lakeview, Girard, Struthers, Hubbard and Niles. Doors open at 11 a.m. Admission is $7 for adults and $4 students.
