Umpire Masters Professional Services — will conduct an umpire training clinic on March 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Volunteer Park, 845 S. Diamond St,, Ravenna, in the back building. Anyone 16 or older is invited to attend this one day-only opportunity to become a certified umpire. Those attending will learn rules, strike zone, game management, safety, mechanics and two-man mechanics and other topics. Season begins in April and tournaments are scheduled each weekend in June.
