Mill Creek Chapter of ABWA will meet Feb. 12 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Networking will take place at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30. First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown will host The Most Rev. George V. Murry, S.J., Bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown, at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 7 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers will host a free seminar from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Parks Garden Center, 9010 state Route 62, Canfield. The seminar will be taught by Tim Parks, who will cover seed selection, soils, fertility, pests, pollination, pruning and irrigation. Pumpkin seeds will be available for sale. Youngstown Chapter of The Links Inc. will host its Black Diamond Leadership Brunch at 10 a.m. Feb. 23 at The Embassy, 5030 Youngstown-Poland Road, Youngstown. The brunch will honor the accomplishments of African American male leaders in the Mahoning Valley.
