UPDATE | Gas leak stopped in New Middletown

NEW MIDDLETOWN — A gas leak at the Chemical Bank in the village has been repaired.

Chief Vince D’Egidio said Dominion East Ohio was able to make quick repairs to a gas line at the bank that was hit by a snowplow.

The bank is now open, D’Egidio said.

The plow driver was cited for driving under suspension, D’Egidio said.
