YSU alumni art exhibit

The annual Youngstown State University Alumni Art Exhibition will open Saturday with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. and run through March 7, at the McDonough Museum of Art, 625 Wick Ave., on the YSU campus. Admission is free. University President James P. Tressel and Phyllis Paul, dean of the Cliffe College, will speak at the reception, which will include a craft beer tasting by Noble Creature Cask House (cash only). Louis A. Zona, director of the Butler Institute of American Art, is the juror this year. The McDonough Museum is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
