Mardi Gras event will benefit Hospice

Hospice of the Valley will host its 17th annual Mardi Gras Party on Feb. 9 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with champagne and hors d’oeuvres. The event will feature food, drinks, musical entertainment by Ovation and DJ Bryan Ladd, a 50-50 raffle, a silent auction with vacation packages, gift items, autographed memorabilia, gifts from local merchants, a chance auction, psychic readings, Spin & Win presented by Komara Jewelers and more.
Honorary chairmen of the event are John and Denise (DeBartolo) York of the DeBartolo Corp. and Patt and Doug Sweeney of Sweeney Chevrolet. Cost is $100 per person, and sponsorship tables are available.
Proceeds will benefit Hospice of the Valley to continue its mission to provide comfort and compassionate care to those at the end of life as well as provide support to families.
