‘A Taste of Trumbull’ set for Jan. 25

Catholic Charities Regional Agency will host its second annual “A Taste of Trumbull” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at JFK High School Upper Campus, 2550 Central Parkway SE. The event features local restaurants and notables preparing their favorite dish for sampling by attendees. Proceeds benefit the Emergency Housing Assistance Program, which combines material and financial assistance to help people stabilize their housing situation, with advocacy efforts to people in need, regardless of religious affiliation. Some participants include K’nafa, Chad Anthony’s, Leo’s Ristorante, Mocha House, Buena Vista and Marco’s Pizza in Girard. Special participants include Trumbull St. Vincent DePaul Society and Goodwill Industries.
