‘Sister’s Cabaret Class’ in Salem

Pastor Kari Lankford of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Leetonia stars in the one-woman show “Sister Robert Anne’s Cabaret Class,” which opens Friday at Salem Community Theatre, 490 E. State St., Salem. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday this weekend and next; and 2 p.m. this Sunday and Jan. 27. In the show, Sister Robert Anne showcases an exclusive collection of songs from the entire “Nunsense” series, interspersed with humorous stories and audience interaction. As the Sister “teaches” how to put together a cabaret act, she takes the audience on a journey of some of the most memorable numbers from the musicals. Tickets are $15 ($11 for senior citizens, $9 for students; $5 for children 5 and under) and can be purchased in advance at salemcommunitytheatre.ticketleap.com (fee applicable) and by phone at 330-332-9688.
