“Roswell” (tonight at 9 p.m., The CW): It’s the season premiere of this space alien drama. In the first episode, a woman reluctantly returns to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, N.M., and reconnects with Max, her teenage crush, who is now a police officer. But she soon learns the shocking truth: Max is an alien from another planet.
“Chicago P.D.” (Wednesday at 10 p.m., NBC): When a defense attorney is murdered after a fundraiser, Intelligence must confront the world of campaign finance, which makes them reconsider their decision to back the current pro-police mayoral candidate.

Top Hat to present dinner-dance show
YOUNGSTOWN
Top Hat Productions will present an evening of dinner and dancing Friday and Saturday at Fairview Arts and Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown Poland Road. All money raised will go toward building maintenance and the theater company’s programming. For information or to make reservations, go to brownpapertickets.com or call 800-838-3006.
The production includes dinner, vocal music of the 1950s and ’60s, and live music from the 57th Street Band for listening, singing along or dancing.
In addition to stage productions, Top Hat also contributes monthly meals to the Dorothy Day House, produces a free summer youth workshop with meals for children, and has a free community event with food, entertainment and amusements each August. It also offers technical lighting and sound apprenticeships for teens, works with Potential Development students to encourage self-esteem to those on the spectrum, and is working with youth in the Juvenile Justice Center.
