Historical presentation will take place Jan. 26

COLUMBIANA

The Columbiana Area Tourism Bureau, the Historical Society of Columbiana and the Columbiana First Committee of the Chamber of Commerce will host “The Journey to Today,” a visual tour of downtown Columbiana business sites from 1806 to the present. Due to a grant from the Columbiana Community Foundation, video frames were purchased and will feature photos and information on the past of each storefront. Visitors are invited to stop in local businesses from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 26 and view the frames. Main Street Theater invites everyone to view the Columbiana Area Tourism Bureau-produced film on the history of Columbiana and hear special guest speaker, Jay Groner, at 7 p.m. The video frames will then be permanently on display in the local businesses.
