No. 4 Baylor 79, TCU 55

FORT WORTH, TEXAS

Juicy Landrum scored a career-high 23 points, Kalani Brown had 16 points and four blocks and the No. 4 Baylor women went on a huge first-half run before coasting to a victory over TCU. The Lady Bears (13-1, 3-0 Big 12) had a 20-0 spurt that started late in the first quarter and covered most of the second, when they outscored the Horned Frogs 19-2 for a 35-11 halftime lead. Lauren Cox had 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists in coach Kim Mulkey’s 250th Big 12 regular-season win, which came two games after win No. 550 for her at Baylor. Amy Okonkwo scored 20 points for TCU (11-4, 1-3). Landrum had eight rebounds and five assists.

No. 9 Maryland 83, Michigan 69

COLLEGE PARK, MD.

Taylor Mikesell scored 17 points, Shakira Austin had 13 points and 15 rebounds, and No. 9 Maryland used a strong finish to get past Michigan. The Terrapins led 55-54 before five different players scored in a 13-4 run that made it 68-58 with 5 minutes left, part of a 30-point fourth quarter for Maryland. Hallie Thome had 25 points and 10 rebounds for Michigan (11-6, 2-3). It was the third double-double for the 6-foot-5 senior and second in two games. Channise Lewis doled out 11 assists for the Terps, Blair Watson scored 14 and Stephanie Jones added 13.

No. 11 Texas 64, No. 20 Iowa State 62

AMES, IOWA

Sug Sutton had 24 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists and Joyner Holmes had a big block as No. 11 Texas survived two missed shots in the closing seconds to edge No. 20 Iowa State. After a couple of timeouts, Holmes blocked a layup attempt by Alexa Middleton with five seconds to go. The Cyclones got the rebound but Bridget Carleton’s 15-footer was off the mark as time ran out. Carleton led Iowa State (13-3, 3-1) with 20 points and Kristin Scott had 15, and both had nine rebounds.

No. 14 Gonzaga 97, Portland 72

SPOKANE, WASH.

Zykera Rice scored a career-high 28 points on 11-of-13 shooting and No. 14 Gonzaga raced to a win over Portland. Laura Stockton added 19 points for the Bulldogs (16-1, 5-0 West Coast Conference), who have won 12 straight overall and 20 straight over the Pilots (8-8, 0-5). Reserves Jill Townsend and Melody Kempton combined for 21 points for Gonzaga. Jayce Gorzeman and Julie Spencer had 15 points apiece for Portland.
