Students participate in unity project

CAMPBELL

Campbell Elementary Middle School students in fourth through seventh grade recently participated in the Youngstown City School District’s Unity Project.

Students were provided a blank canvas and instructed to come up with a title and quote that related to the project’s theme, “Unite! Dream to build a better community, a better world.”

CEMS students titled the painting, “The Caring Carnival.” There also are 23 pieces of artwork displayed, including the painting, at an exhibit today through Jan. 31 in the D.D. and Velma Davis Education & Visitor Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks.
