Discussion group to meet Jan. 22

The Adult Book Discussion Group will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., in the Quaker Room.

The group will discuss the “The Kurdish Bike” by Alesa Lightbourne, a fictional story about a single mother who answers an advertisement to teach at a Kurdish school in Iraq.

Copies of the book are available for checkout at the library. The event is free to attend, open to the public and no registration is required. For information, call 330-332-0042.
