Springfield announces its 2018-19 HOF class

NEW MIDDLETOWN

The Springfield Local High School Athletic Hall of Fame has announced the 2018-2019 Induction Class.

The inductees are: Dan Simcox (coach), John Sznajkart Jr. (basketball, 1990), Scott Ohlin (football, 1988), Dan Dull (football, 1995), Matt Walker (multiple sports, 2001), Chris Mediate (track and field, 1988), Tom Graham (football, 1978), Gary Jones (football, 1978) and Dr. John Sonedecker (baseball, 1962).

These individuals will be honored at a varsity basketball game on Jan. 18 and then at a banquet at on Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Church in New Middletown.
