Boardman (8-3, 2-0 All-American Conference-Red Tier) forced Lakeside into an array of first-half turnovers in building a 43-17 halftime lead.

Newton Falls’ Adam Honeycutt tied the record for 3-pointers in a game with eight while scoring 28 points. Cody Dillon set the record in 2009. Preston Rapczak scored 15 points and Gage Friend had 12. Miguel Brown scored 13 points for Liberty and Omarion Dawson had 12 points in defeat.

SOUTHINGTON

Five different players scored in double figures for Southington. Trystan Mollohan led the way with 20 points, including five 3-pointers. Dylan Dye added 16 points with four 3-pointers of his own. Logan Regal (13 points), Kyle Caracanas (12), and Aidan Ricks (11) were the other Wildcats in double figures. Badger had two twenty plus point scorers in Logan Lendak (26) and Aiden Miller (20).

BERLIN CENTER

McDonald had four players score in double figures, led by sharp shooting Zach Rasile. Rasile totaled 34 points, including four 3-pointers. Cam Tucker netted 13, and Jake Portolese and Josh Celli totaled 11 each for the Blue Devils. Western Reserve was led by Noah Klasic with 22 points. Preston Reed added 14 points and Ryan Gordon and Riley Miller scored 11 and 10 points respectively for the Blue Devils.
