TODAY

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, Poland, will host a cavatelli dinner from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Menu includes cavatelli with homemade sauce, two meatballs, tossed salad, bread and butter and cookies. Cost is $10. Smaller portion of cavatelli and one meatball is $5. Fresh homemade pasta fagioli is $6 a quart, and homemade fresh or frozen pasta sauce is $5 a quart. Takeout only. Patrons can place their orders and remain in their cars where the dinners will be delivered to them.

THURSDAY

Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will host a drive-through stuffed chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Menu includes a stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost is $7. Pepperoni rolls also will be available for $2 each. Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, will sponsor a drive-through chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out Thursday. Meals are $7 and will feature stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Dinners may be reserved by calling 330-549-2588.

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell pirogi Thursday from 8 a.m. until sold out. To order, call 330-755-1316 starting at 8 a.m. Friday. Choose potato, kraut or prune pirogi at $6 per dozen. Pickup will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins not accepted.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, is selling potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Walk-in orders are welcome.

VFW Post 2799 Auxiliary will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the post home, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, Italian bread, coffee or tea. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

FRIDAY

Calla Community Church, 6482 W. Calla Road, Canfield, will host a homemade soup sale from 4 p.m. until sold out. Flavors include vegetable beef and stuffed pepper soup. Cost is $6 a quart. There also will be fresh baked bread for $2 a loaf. Call Chris at 330 501-1597 to place orders in advance.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will be selling potato and cheese pirogi Friday. To order, call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Community Day Camp of North Lima will host a “Grab & Go” soup fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima. Cost is $8 per quart and choices are ham and bean, vegetable, chicken noodle, baked potato and broccoli cheese. Proceeds benefit CDCNL’s program that will take place in August.

Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will host a chicken pie dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. . Menu includes chicken pie, potato, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, bread, drink and dessert. Takeouts will be available. SUNDAY

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the church hall. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children. All carryouts are $7.50; containers are 75 cents or patrons may provide their own.

Aut Mori Grotto will host its monthly pancake and sausage breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 26 at the Aut Mori Grotto Banquet Hall, 563 North Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes only, link sausage, eggs, potatoes, sausage gravy and biscuits, orange juice and coffee. Cost is $6 per person, $3 for children age 4 to 12 and free for children age 3 and younger. The Aut Mori Grotto is a member of the Grottoes of North America and is a nonprofit organization comprised of master Masons. The grottoes support local charities, Akron Children’s Hospital, Sojourners House, muscular dystrophy and dentistry for challenged children under 17. First Presbyterian Church of Girard will sell homemade potato and chicken noodle soup, homemade pepperoni rolls, fresh-baked bread and homemade sticky buns Jan. 19. The soup is $5 a quart and $3 a pint. The pepperoni rolls are $8 for the large and $2.50 for a single. Bread is $2 for a large loaf and $1.50 for a small loaf, and sticky buns are four for $2.50. Orders can be placed by calling 330-759-1460. Deadline for orders is 7 p.m. Jan. 16. After that, items will be as available. Pick up will be between 3 and 4:30 p.m. at the church, 890 Churchill Road, Girard.

First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will be the site of a meatballs and pasta dinner that will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 20. The dinner is the annual spaghetti dinner by the Company Dancers from Ballet Western Reserve. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and may be purchased at BWR in advance or at the door. Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will host a benefit roast beef dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 20, sponsored by the men’s organization. Proceeds benefit NESFACE, the local food bank.

St. Brendan Church, 2800 Oakwood Ave., will host a pancake and sausage breakfast from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 27 in Maxwell Hall. Free-will donations are requested.

Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will host Supper at the Corner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Jan. 17. The meal is free as a community outreach of the church. Donations accepted to continue the program.
