“The Rookie” (tonight at 10 p.m., ABC): In the midseason premiere, Officer Bradford’s wife, Isabel, is found shot but alive and he vows to track down the man responsible.

“The Goldbergs” (Wednesday at 8 p.m., ABC): Barry and Lainey’s wedding date is right around the corner, and Beverly is in her element as she tries to make everything perfect.

Benefit art sale extends deadline

The Davis Family YMCA is seeking donations for its upcoming FIVE Squared benefit art show and sale. All art must be 5 inches by 5 inches and created on – or attached to – a stiff surface (mat board, foam core, etc). All mediums will be accepted, no frames necessary.

Deadline for entry has been extended to Jan. 25. The artist’s name and title of piece should be written on the back and the requisite paperwork included. Art must be dropped off at the service desk, or mailed to Davis Family YMCA, 45 McClurg Road, Boardman, OH, 44512, attn: Suzanne Gray. Each artist may donate up to eight pieces; children may enter four.

An opening reception will take place Feb. 3 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The sale will open at 2:30 p.m., with each piece selling for $25. All proceeds benefit the Y’s ARTreach program.

Blackberry Smoke coming to Kent Stage

Southern country rockers Blackberry Smoke will come to Kent Stage, 175 E. Main St., on March 17 for a 7:30 p.m. concert, and the Swamp Pop Legends Tour – with Jimmy Hall, C.J.
