The Kraynaks celebrate their 50th anniversary

Joseph and Gladys Kraynak of Poland recently celebrated their 50th anniversary at the Amen Corner surrounded by their family and friends.

The couple have one son, Brian Kraynak of Apex, N.C., and two grandsons.

Mr. Kraynak married the former Gladys Aho on Oct. 5, 1968, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Girard.

Mrs. Kraynak worked at Dollar Bank in downtown Youngstown for nine years and retired from the position of office manager at Kraynak Roofing in 2006.

Her husband worked for Youngstown Sheet & Tube, Banner Supply Co. and was president of Kraynak Roofing until he retired in 2006. He also served in the U.S. army during the Vietnam War.

The couple are members of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
