Junior Achievement will celebrate centennial

Junior Achievement will celebrate its centennial throughout 2019 with several events. On a national level, in January, Junior Achievement will begin with the “100% Ready” awareness campaign, developed by ad agency Publicis Hawkeye.

In February, a documentary about JA will be broadcast on PBS; in March, JA will ring the bell at the New York Stock Exchange; in September, Junior Achievement Day at the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, Mass., where JA was started.

Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley received platinum recognition from GuideStar USA and the 2018 Top-Rated Nonprofit award from Great Nonprofits. JAMV will host an exhibit at the Tyler History Center. Alumni are encouraged to loan or donate historical items for the exhibit and the time capsule.
