Local resident hosts party for ‘snow day’

Jayson Quesada began a Christmas tradition in 2016 when he sponsored a pizza party for the children at the Mahoning Valley Shelter. He received a check from an anonymous donor and also was able to buy gifts for the children. Each Thanksgiving and Christmas, Quesada donates turkeys and hams and all the trimmings to the shelter. He and Severio Brenner, under the supervision of Quesada’s cousin, Claudia Pagan, make “welcome bags” and donate them on Christmas eve.
