Library to host Sudoku tournament

The Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host a Sudoku tournament at 10 a.m. Jan. 12 in the Quaker Room. The competition is for anyone 18 years of age and older. Each competitor must be registered, which can be done online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or call the library at 330-332-0042 for assistance. The competition consists of three rounds with each round having three puzzles. Winners of the rounds advance to the championship round. Tournament winners will receive gift certificates to local restaurants.
