‘Storm Warning’ at Selah Dessert Theater

“Storm Warning,” a romantic comedy, will open Feb. 28 at Selah Dessert Theater, located on the second floor of Selah Restaurant, 130 S. Bridge St., Struthers, for a run of five performances. The play centers on WWII veteran Jack Forrester, who lives in a cabin at a woodsy area. His solitary life is turned upside down when Emma, a pill-popping, hard-drinking, big-band arranger rents the cabin next to Jack’s for the weekend. What transpires is two very opposite personalities coming together and helping each other deal with their demons. The play is written by Norm Foster. The cast includes Liz Conrad and Jim Ewing. Ron Sinesio is the director. Performances will be at 8 p.m. Feb. 28, and March 1, 2, 8 and 9. Tickets are $18.50 and include dessert and coffee at intermission. For reservations, go to selahrestaurant.com or call 1-800-838-3006. A premiere night package on opening night includes dinner and the show for $35. Pre-show dinner reservations for the rest of the run can be made at 330-755-2759.
