Kimberly Saviers, Stephen Hodson set June date

GLASTONBURY, CONN.

Kimberly Saviers and Stephen Hodson, both of Glastonbury, Conn., are announcing their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Linda Baker of McDonald and Ray Saviers of Tallmadge.

The prospective groom’s parents are Stephen and Linda Hodson of Washington, D.C.

The couple’s wedding will take place June 13 in New York City, and a reception will be celebrated afterward with immediate family and close friends in Manhattan.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron and a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. She is a published author of several research papers in the nanotechnology field and is a senior engineer at United Technologies Research Center.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. He is a senior lead engineer at P.C. Krause & Associates.
