Girls varsity basketball beats Ellet High School

The Austintown girls varsity basketball team beat Ellet High School with a score of 60-28 on Feb. 11, wrapping up regular season competition with a record of 17-5 and All-American Conference Champions. Top scorers for the Lady Falcons were Hunter with 20 points. Jackson with 13 points, Fronk wth eight points and Lazaro with seven points.

Boys varsity basketball falls to Chaney

The boys varsity basketball team fell to Chaney High School with a score of 57-44 on Feb. 12. The Falcons’ leading scorers were Todd Simons with 10 points and Lorenzo Russo with six points.

Boys varsity basketball beats Cardinal Mooney

The boys varsity basketball team held off the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals in the final seconds to get the win with a score of 52-51 on Feb. 15. The Falcons’ leading scorers were Kris Brown and Todd Simons with 19 and 14 points, respectively.
