SENIOR CITIZENS


AARP 4611 East Youngstown will meet for its executive board meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 707 Arlington St. At noon, Wayna Hightower, retired director of the Youngstown City Health District, will give a special presentation about black inventors. Annual membership dues of $7 will be collected. New members and guests are welcome. There also will be a 50-50 raffle. Report illness among members to Evelyn at 330-530-2734. Holy Family Seniors Group will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish Hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Lunch is $4 per member and will be served at noon, followed by bingo and card games. Members are reminded that meetings will be canceled during the winter months if the weather is too cold or snowy for safe travel. Keenagers of Third Baptist Church will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the church on Park Hill Drive. All members are urged to attend, and new members are welcome.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at noon March 1 at Lowellville City Hall Conference Room. Lunch will be provided. For reservations, call Paula Kacic at 330-718-2856. Brenda Perry, president, will preside. Judge Robert Rusu will be the guest speaker. New members are welcome, and Lowellville residency is not a requirement. Dues of $10 are being accepted. Bingo and a 50-50 raffle will follow the business meeting. If Lowellville schools are canceled due to weather, there will be no meeting.
