MONDAY
Garden Gate Garden Club will meet at 1 p.m. with a speaker from Wild Birds Unlimited. Dorothy Shirilla will be the hostess.
TUESDAY
Holborn Herb Growers Guild will meet at 7 p.m. at the Colonial Inn on the Canfield Fairgrounds. The speaker, Eric Barrett, OSU Extension educator, agricultural and natural resources county director, will discuss how to create a bloom chart for year-round interest in the garden.
Trailwood Gardeners will meet at noon at the Blackburn Home in Poland. Sharon Israel will speak on birds. Dessert only will be served, and co-hostesses will be Kitty Heineman and Peg Shirey.

Garden Forum of the Greater Youngstown Area will host its spring general meeting, “Tiptoe Through the Tulips,” on April 13 at Fellows Riverside Gardens. The event will be hosted by Holborn Herb Growers Guild and St. Michael Garden Guild of Canfield. AJ Pettitti will speak, and Judy Conti’s Dancing Divas will perform. Lunch includes fatoush salad, rosemary chicken, stuffed portabella caps, rice pilaf, garlic green beans, beverage and dessert. Cost is $20 for Garden Forum members and $25 for nonmembers. The event is open to the public. All paid reservations must be mailed to the Forum office by April 1. No walk in orders or phone reservations will be accepted.
