Nominations being accepted

The Salem Historical Society is accepting nominations for the 2019 Citizens of Honor recognition. Three citizens will be honored at the 30th Annual Founders’ Day Dinner that will take place April 25.

The criteria are for Salem-connected citizens, from the present or past, who have distinguished themselves with service to their community, career and/or to their country.

Any field of accomplishment can be considered and should be described fully. For information and applications, call the museum at 330-337-8514 or email TheSalemHistoricalSociety@gmail.com.

Completed nominations should be submitted to Judi Allio, chairwoman of the Salem Historical Society Citizens of Honor committee, before March 1. Send nominations to 208 S. Broadway Ave., Salem, OH 44460, to the attention of the Citizens of Honor committee.
