Students at St. Christine’s Catholic School competed in the school’s annual Geography Bee on Jan. 15.

Students from each grade competed before the school-wide geography bee in in-class competitions, with the winners going on to compete against each other.

The whole school gathered to watch as students from each grade answered questions relating to the geography of the world.

Teacher Michelle Lydic said that each student tried their hardest, answering questions even many adults at the school could not.

“These students are very intelligent,” Lydic said. “So watching them thrive in a competition like this is always rewarding.”

Three students placed during the competition, with Gabe Saunders taking first place.

Students Christopher Flora and Mackenzie Kelly also received honors.

“It’s a cool thing that we get to do every year,” Lydic said.
