‘Why Me?’ play at Ford recital hall

Michael Anthony Forney’s original stage play “Why Me?” will be reprised at Ford Family Recital Hall at 8 p.m. April 6. Tickets, which are all general admission, are $35 and available in advance by calling call 330-744-0264 or online at youngstownsymphony.com.

The play follows Kimberly, a beautiful and loving wife who must go back in time with a mysterious stranger to find out how and why she was tragically murdered inside her own home.

Archaeologists find Narcissus fresco

MILAN

Archaeologists have discovered a fresco in an ancient Pompeii residence that portrays the mythological hunter Narcissus, who fell in love with his own reflection.

The discovery announced Thursday is in the atrium of a house where a fresco was found late last year depicting a sensual scene between the Roman god Jupiter disguised as a swan and Leda, a queen of Sparta from Greek mythology.

‘Guys and Dolls’ tickets are on sale
