THURSDAY

Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will host a drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Menu includes stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost is $7. Pepperoni rolls also will be available for $2 each. Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, will sponsor a drive-through chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals are $7 and will feature stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Dinners may be reserved by calling 330-549-2588.

Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church, 250 N. Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for fresh potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. or until sold out Thursday and at 10:30 a.m. Friday, if available, by calling 330-746-9528. Pick up will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Lunches also will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell pirogi Thursday from 8 a.m. until sold out. Call in orders to 330-755-1316 starting at 8 a.m. until sold out Friday. Choose potato, kraut or prune pirogi at $6 per dozen. Pickup will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins not accepted.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, is selling potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Walk-in orders are welcome.

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter and coffee. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $8 and will be available until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

VFW Post 2799 Auxiliary will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the post home, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, Italian bread, coffee or tea. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will host a dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. Meals feature a choice of haddock, chicken or shrimp with fries, coleslaw and a roll for $10.50. St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 405 Robinson Road, Campbell, will host a haluski sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Menu includes haluski served with homemade dumplings. Cost is $8 per quart. Saturday

First Presbyterian Church of Girard will sell homemade chili, stuffed peppers and chicken noodle soup, homemade pepperoni rolls, fresh-baked bread and homemade sticky buns. Soup is $5 a quart and $3 per pint. Pepperoni rolls are $8 for the large (15 inch) and $2.50 for a single. Bread is $2 for a large loaf and $1.50 a for a small loaf, and sticky buns are four for $2.50. Orders can be placed by calling 330-759-1460. Deadline for orders is today at 7 p.m. After that, items will be only as available. Pick up will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the church, 890 Churchill Road, Girard.

SUNDAY

Fowler Fire Department will host its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193. Cost is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children. Preschool-age children eat for free.

Girard Eagles 2172, 26 W. Wilson Ave., will host a steak fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $15. Menu includes New York strip steak, baked potato, green beans, tossed salad and bread with butter. Call 330-545-4761 for information.

Kinsman Presbyterian Church men’s organization will sponsor a benefit roast beef dinner from noon to 2 p.m. at the church, 6383 Church St., Kinsman. Carry out will be available. Southington American Legion Post will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the post home, 3145 Warren-Burton Road. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Children younger than 4 eat for free. Menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes only and sausage, French toast and sausage or biscuits and gravy.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 38 Robbins Ave., Niles, is taking orders for its annual Ash Wednesday pizza sale. All products are made with homemade dough. Austintown Band Parents will host its annual spaghetti dinner Feb. 23 to raise funds to support the band program in the high school cafeteria, 4560 Falcon Drive, Austintown. Cupcakes and other dessert items also will be sold. The event will include a 50-50 raffle and basket auction. The freshman band will play at noon, the concert band will play at 12:30 p.m., Fitch Jazz 2 will play at 1 p.m., Fitch Jazz 1 will play at 1:30 p.m., the symphonic band will play at 2 p.m., the AIS fifth grade band will play at 3:30 p.m., the sixth grade band plays at 4:15 p.m., the jazz band will play at 5 p.m., the seventh grade band will play at 5:45 p.m., and the eighth grade band will close out the evening at 6:30 p.m. Cost of admission plus dinner is $8 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and students and free for children age 4 and under.
