UPDATE | Drive It Home group meets with Husted

COLUMBUS — Members of the Drive It Home campaign met with Lt. Gov. Jon Husted today at the state house.

Husted renewed his vow to advocate on behalf of the Lordstown workers for reinvestment in the General Motors Lordstown Assembly Complex or, in the event of the plant's closure, for new opportunities for investment in the region.

COLUMBUS — The Drive It Home Ohio campaign coalition, including Lordstown Mayor Arno Hill, Warren Mayor William Franklin and Youngstown/Warren Chamber of Commerce CEO James Dignan have arrived in Columbus.

The Vindicator is accompanying the delegation on the bus trip.

The delegation will be joined by UAW Local 1112 president Dave Green to meet with leadership of the state to present a joint resolution declaring state support for the Drive It Home Ohio campaign and Lordstown workers.
