Chamber plans banquet
COLUMBIANA
For 66 years, the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce has recognized individuals, groups and businesses by awarding those who have made a positive difference in the community, exemplified excellence in their field or contributed to the betterment of the area. This year, the following businesses and individuals will be recognized: Columbiana Dairy Queen, new construction award; PHD Manufacturing, Inc., business expansion award; Rankin’s Meat Market, adaptive reuse and upgrade award; Brad & Becky Rance, entrepreneur award; KDC Properties IX, LLC, planned unit development award; St. Jude Church, business of the year; Lance Willard, business person of the year; Jim Klemann, outstanding community service; Ken Allcorn and P. Earl Corey, lifetime of service; and Kathy Keaggy Brown, educator of the year. Reservations are due by Friday and may be made by calling 330-482-3822 or emailing toinfo@columbianachamber.com. The banquet is set for 5:30 p.m. March 2 at the Dutch Village Inn Banquet Center. Cost is $30 per person. Music will be provided by One Cello, and the motivational speaker will be Karen Vadino.
