Bond in shooting case

Bond has been set at $1 million for a man accused of a Friday morning shooting.

Kyle Rice, 29, was arraigned Monday in municipal court on a charge of attempted murder for the shooting Friday morning of a woman on Oregon Avenue on the West Side.

Investigators said Rice, who had a prior relationship with the woman, shot her several times. U.S. marshals arrested him Friday in Boardman. The woman is recovering in St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
