6 suspects in Hernandez homicide arraigned today

YOUNGSTOWN — All six suspects in the Jan. 24 shooting death of 24-year-old Crystal Hernandez in her McBride Street apartment pleaded not guilty today at their arraignments in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Additionally, the two suspects accused of a shooting that led to the retaliation shooting that killed Hernandez also pleaded not guilty.

Judge R. Scott Kruchbaum deferred bonds for all suspects to Judge Anthony Donofrio, who was assigned to hear all eight cases.

The first pretrial sare set for Friday. A trial date of April 22 was set for all eight suspects.
