The Gotthardts observe their 65th anniversary

Glenn and Jackie Gotthardt of Berlin Center recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family party at Diehl Lake Clubhouse hosted by their children.

The couple’s children are Jeffrey (Angela) Gotthardt of Hudson, Cathy (Gary) Sheptock of Berlin Center, Glenn A. Gotthardt of Berlin Center, Beth (Dale) Reese of Pittsburgh and Amy (Greg) Beck of Canfield.

They have nine grandchildren, Koree (Shan) Sharma, Alexxa Gotthardt, Logan Sheptock, Garren Gotthardt, Bianca Gotthardt, Ryley Sheptock, Amber Beck, Mitchell Beck and Thomas Beck. Four great-grandchildren complete their family.

Mr. Gotthardt and the former Jackie Comparetto were married Oct. 21, 1953, at Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville.

Mrs. Gotthardt is a homemaker.

Mr. Gotthardt operated several businesses, including Hamp Steel, Select Steel and Select Industries.
