Artists of Rust Belt will show, sale work

YOUNGSTOWN

Artists of the Rust Belt winter market will take place Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at B&O Station, 530 Mahoning Ave. Admission is $1.

About 40 local artists will show and sell their work. Items will include woodwork items, decor, jewelry, local honey, sweet treats, crochete items, wall art and more.

There will be a cash bar, and the kitchen will be open.

Trampoline parks offer date-night deal

Extreme Air Trampoline Parks in Niles and Boardman, which offer trampoline basketball, dodgeball and more than 10,000 square feet of jumping activities, is offering a Valentine’s Day special in which guests can purchase two jump passes for $14. The offer is good only on Feb. 14, and makes an unusual date- night option, said Extreme Air Owner Matt MacGregor.

The Boardman location, 360 McClurg Road, features Warehouse Wars laser tag and a rock wall. The Niles location, 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road, showcases a larger main court area. Both sites have a concession stand.

Extreme Air Trampoline Parks are open from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, from 2 to 11 p.m. Friday, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday For information, go to ExtremeAirParks.com.

Film festival adds 2 Cleveland locations

CLEVELAND

The Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF), which will be March 27-April 7, is expanding its locations this year.

In addition to more than 500 screenings at its longtime home at Tower City Cinemas, downtown, CIFF has added two hubs: University Circle on the east side and Gordon Square Arts District on the west side.

CIFF West will debut the first weekend of CIFF43 on the evening of March 28, followed by two full days of programming. Screenings will take place at the Near West Theatre and the historic Capitol Theatre.

CIFF East will offer programming the second weekend of the festival, kicking off the evening of April 4, followed by two full days of programming. Screenings will take place at the Cleveland Museum of Art and at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Revamped ‘Phantom’ coming to Benedum

PITTSBURGH

Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera” will return to Pittsburgh Feb. 20-March 3 for multiple performances at the Benedum Center. With new staging and scenic design, the new version of “Phantom” has a cast and orchestra of 52, making it one of the largest touring productions in North America.
