Teen in jail for threatening ex-girlfriend online with gun

YOUNGSTOWN

An 18-year-old Austintown man is in the Mahoning County jail after threatening his ex-girlfriend on social media.

Dandre Allen, 18, was arrested after police were called Tuesday to Cardinal Mooney High School on Erie Street, where the girlfriend showed school officials a post on Instagram where Allen brandished a gun and threatened to come to the school to shoot her or anyone else who got in his way.

Allen is expected to be arraigned later today in municipal court on a charge of inducing panic.
