Parochial schools to host open houses

YOUNGSTOWN

Cardinal Mooney High School, 2545 Erie St., will host a free public open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Prospective and current families will be treated to school tours hosted by current students. Academic departments, sports teams and extracurricular clubs will have information on hand. Refreshments will be provided. Ursuline High School, 750 Wick Ave., will host its annual open house from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Academic departments and school organizations will prepare booths and displays for the event. The event will feature performances by band, choir and speech team members. Tours of the school will be offered. Student artwork and a photo montage will be on display. Incoming freshman may register to win one of four tuition raffles for $1,500 off next year’s tuition. Financial aid forms for the 2019-20 school year will be available for pickup at the financial aid booth in the cafeteria. Refreshments will be provided.
