Library will host technology classes


SALEM

The Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host a “Using Chrome Bookmarks and Extensions” class at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Quaker Room. The instructor will be Kathy Bennett and attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet; devices available are limited.

The library also will host “What to Do about Landlines” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Quaker Room. Bennett, instructor, will discuss the pros and cons of keeping a home landline telephone compared to using a smartphone.

Classes are free to attend and seating is limited. Registration is required by visiting www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library at 330-332-0042.
