Society to host lecture

BOARDMAN

The Boardman Historical Society will host its monthly lecture series at 10 a.m. Feb. 9 at the Boardman Library, 7680 Glenwood Ave. Dean Hoover, John Burgan and Jerry Armbrecht will speak on “The History of Boardman Rotary.” The presenters are all long-time, active members of the organization. The lecture is free and open to the public. Reservations are suggested; call Dona Hammond at 330-726-0651. The Boardman Historical Society meets on the second Saturday of each month from September through May at 10 a.m. at the Boardman Library for a lecture on some aspect of local history.
