Students win awards for art, writing

YOUNGSTOWN

Cardinal Mooney High School students won honors for their artistic work at the annual Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Gold key winners from each region will travel to New York City to be juried nationally. All work is on display at Youngstown State University in Bliss Hall’s Solomon Gallery. Gold key winners were Ke’Asia Weeden, Jonathan Sears, Bella Beato and Hannah Choi. Silver key winners were Keegan Butler, Shanice St. Thomas, Beato and Conchetta Rinaldi.

Honorable mention winners were Terrell Brown, Soonbee Hwang, Noah Pecchia, Giana Vigliotti, Zach Perkins, Mia Stana, Novely Gasior, Sophie Roelandts, and Titiana Tolson.
