YSU Ring Banquet set for Feb. 26

The Penguin Club is accepting dinner reservations for the annual Scholarship/Ring Banquet on Feb. 26 at Mr. Anthony’s. Paul and Laura Lyden and the Lyden Oil Family is being recognized as Penguins of the Year.

Bo Pelini, YSU football coach, will be among the speakers.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the buffet dinner starting at 6:15 p.m.

Deadline for reservations is Feb. 11. Dinner tickets cost $100 while a full table costs $800. For more information, contact the Penguin Club at (330) 941-2351.

Also being honored will be YSU’s 2017-18 Horizon League Championship teams (men’s cross country, men’s indoor track and field, women’s indoor track and field, women’s tennis and women’s outdoor track and field).

Proceeds from the dinner will be used to fund YSU’s athletic scholarship program and provide championship rings for our outstanding student-athletes and coaches.
